Membership shall be opened to:
- All Registered primary and secondary cooperative societies in the state that have fully paid up the stipulated minimum shares.
- All registered unions that have fully paid up the stipulated minimum shares.
Application for Membership: Application for membership shall be made in writing in the prescribed form through the Manager and shall be disposed off by the Board of Directors, who may grant or refuse admission and who in case of refusal shall state their reasons. Any applicant so refused shall have the right of appeal through a member of the Board to the general meeting which shall take decisions as it may deem fit.
Shares Certificate: Every society/organization whose name is entered, as a member on the register of members shall, without payment, be entitled to a certificate specifying the share(s) held by it and the amount paid thereof. Individual(s) shareholders shall also be issued share certificates.
