Mrs Modupe Olaoye joined the services of Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) Idi-Araba, Lagos 1990 and she has been in Specialty area – Peri –Operative Room Nurse. She holds Bsc (H/E), DIP. In Management, NRN, NRM, RPON.
She joined the Cooperative Society – LUTH/CMUL in1991 and since then, she has been an active member who rose to become the Chairman Loans Committee in 2006-2007 and under her chairmanship many of the members enjoyed different kind of loan facilities including compassionate and educational loans. Her performance led to her being appointed as Secretary of the LUTH/CMUL Housing Committee between 2007 – 2011. She brought new initiatives that made a lot of members use their loans effectively and many became land and house owners.
Mrs Olaoye was elected General Secretary of her primary society LUTH/CMUL in 2012 based on her proactiveness and pragmatic roles in supporting the growth of her primary society – LUTH/CMUL and still holds the position till date. She doubles as the General Secretary of her secondary Union – the Mushin Multipurpose Union till date.
She was elected Secretary of Lagos State Women- in-Cooperative between 2012 – 2016 and now serves as an Ex-Officio of the Apex Women body in the state.
She was elected into the board of Lagos State Cooperative Finance and Investment Society (LASCOFIS) Ltd as the Treasurer of the Apex Cooperative finance body in the state.
